Last week, I was at the Community Land Conference in Sterling looking at the rapid expansion

of community ownership in this country and interesting developments

about possibly using asset transfer legislation to take ownership of some of our biggest

tourist attractions into community hands. You'll hear more about that in our next podcast on

Saturday the 26th of May when we'll also hear about Mark's recent trip

to the island of Gia which was taken over by the community 16 years ago. You'll be assessing

how it's worked for them. So we thought this would be a great time to revisit a programme we made

in Norway in January 2016 just just before the latest land reform act

was being formed in Scotland. It was such a memorable trip for us, we learnt so much about

who land could potentially be managed. I'll leave Mark Stephen to take up the tale.
