We've had some cars run into the bury wall, not paying attention, they were on their phone. Taxing, scrolling, yeah, that's bad. Most often they be on their phones or they're not paying attention, they can cause a crash. We could stand on the side of the road and watch every other vehicle looking down into their lap as they're passing us. You know what they're looking at. They're looking at their phone. Phones. On their phones, not paying attention.

Phones. I'm not a mathematician, but I say probably about 80% of the people who pass me

are on their telephones. No call, text, or video is worth putting yourself for a road worker

this morning, sir? What's going on, Jerry? How are you doing, Brian? Hey, brother. How are you?

I'm well. We had an amazing convention this weekend, and, you know,

Republicans are excited. We're ready to go for November. Let's start there. Let's start there.

First of all, congratulations on being the father of Indiana's youngest delegate, your son Jackson.

Thank you, thank you. He and his younger brother have been going to political events since they were born. We still have the ones he says we Republican. So this is just another chapter. He, he knows his mother is a Himalink County counselor and I've been involved in Republican politics since I was nine. And so it's just been on our blood. And they're excited to get involved and active as they've been going to events their whole life. Yeah, and I think it's really cool to see the younger generation get involved because it's kind of been the lost generation of kids, right? So even people like my son, Jaden, who's 21, involved in conservative politics, and I think it's very big if we want to find who's going to carry the torch next. Absolutely. You know, I've helped several campaigns over the years, and I still have lots of photos of my kids, you know, walking in parades with campaign t-shirts on and everything.

And I think it's a great way to exposing our young kids to just how all this works in this country.

What were your big takeaways from convention, Mario?

You know, I think the biggest takeaway was how everyone got united after it was over.

You know, I think that, you know, everyone said it was going to be very acrimonious,

that it was going to be very dirty and nasty.

You know, it got heated at the end of this convention battle, but then everyone

rallied around Max Engling, and I think that that's the most important thing, that we had four

qualified candidates, right? If you put our four candidates that were running in this convention

against Bobai or Greg Ballard, they all have great conservative policies. They all have
