We've had some cars run into the bury wall, not paying attention, they were on their phone. Taxing, scrolling, yeah, that's bad. Most often they be on their phones or they're not paying attention, they can cause a crash. We could stand on the side of the road and watch every other vehicle looking down into their lap as they're passing us. You know what they're looking at. They're looking at their phone. Phones. On their phones, not paying attention.

Phones. I'm not a mathematician, but I say probably about 80% of the people who pass me

are on their telephones. No call, text, or video is worth putting yourself for a road worker

in danger. When driving through construction, Lyuna members ask you for your sake and hours. Slow down, stay off your phone, please. Be aware where we're at, where the cone zones are at. Stay off your phones and buckle up and drive safe. We're not asking for much. This is Brian Short, business manager for the Indiana Labor District Council. Everyone deserves a safe place to work. We're joined by none other than Chris Lights Out Lytle, who's in town to talk about bare and knuckle fighting. It's going to happen this Friday. You're listening to the 9-the-noon show on WIBC with Jerry and Brian Alvey. Yeah, we've got my brother from another mother, Chris, on here. We're going to talk about BKFC, but let me set the stage a little bit by who Chris Lights out Lytle.

If you've been living under Iraq, you don't realize that this is a local Indianapolis combat sports legend.

And I do use that word in good company.

Dana White referred to Chris Lights Out Lytle as a UFC legend based off the litany of fight of the night bonuses, knockout of the night bonuses, and submission of the night bonuses, having more collectively than I think

any fighter in UF's history, if that record's not been broken yet.

And I mean, this guy's done it all.

He was a two-time runner-up in state and wrestling in high school.

He was a professional boxer.

He started off in MMA, ended up to the pinnacle at UFC, had an unbelievably extoric

career, and then he's walked point on bare-knuckle fighting, taking three fights, coming out of retirement to take three fights with BKFC

to launch that, and then he assumed the commentator's role.

He is, for lack of a better description, the Joe Rogan now of BKFC.

Chris, brother, welcome to the show. How are you doing? Man, I'm doing fantastic. Brian, you make me feel good about myself. Thank you. I mean, you made me feel like I'm even better than I am. Well, you make me feel like crap every time we train. And now I'm over here, like, how come I don't get an intro like that? That was dirty, dude. Well, you be a UFC legend. You're very good, too, Jerry. You're good. Hey, so tell us about this big event that's coming up. First of all, I am so excited to see that Bar-Nocle fighting is coming here. I needed to come to the Circle City, but hey, Hammond is a heck of a start. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Well, you know, We are going to come to Indianapolis. A matter of fact, this is our second time here in Hammond. And after the first time, I thought I had him talk to you going to Indianapolis next. I'm not in the planning phase of where we're going. That's kind of whatever deals they make, but I'm going to talk to them again, and I really want to talk to the people of Indianapolis and bring it down here. Man, if you haven't seen Vertical Fighting Championship to be KFC, I mean, you know, Brian gave you the intro, I'm a UFC guy. You know, I fought there 20, over 20 times. I, you know, my record has been broken for, for, you know, bonuses, Brian.

But, I mean, when I retired, I was the Levy Bonus winner.
