Hey, wonderfuls. Welcome to episode 586 of the JV Club with my phenomenal guest, Mari Naomi.

Mari Naomi and I met at the Joko Cruise 2024. You've heard me talk about it before.

You've heard me talk about all of them and bring on, quite frankly, guests that I had the great

honor and pleasure of getting to spend some time with at Joko Cruise in years past. And in some

cases, I don't get to spend as much time with guests on the cruise as I would like because they

are so busy and they are doing so many different things or our schedules don't totally align.

And I really walked away from last year feeling like, God, I wish I could have gotten to know

Mari Naomi better because I'm such a fan. Not only of their work as a graphic cartoonist and artists, but also in supporting underrepresented voices. So having them on the podcast and getting a chance to spend some time with them and laugh and generally just get to feel cooler for now knowing them. I am very excited for you to feel the same. If you're not already a fan, which I'm sure many to all of you are.
