Second Life. Today on the pod I'm speaking with the world-class tennis champion

and entrepreneur Maria Sharapova. After moving to the US at the age of six to pursue a career in

tennis, Maria turned professional when she was just 14 years old.

She won Wimbleton when she was 17, the first of her five career grand slam titles

and has been ranked number one in the world by the WTA on five separate occasions.

In 2017, she also became a New York Times best-selling author,

writing about her tennis career in the autobiography, Unstoppable, My Life So Far.

But after 28 years immersed in a world that most of us can only imagine, just this

past February, Maria announced her retirement from tennis.

Though her departure came as a shock to many, Maria had always had many

facets to her career. Beyond her endorsement feels, she's also been an active founder

and the CEO of her incredible Confection Line, Sugar Pova since 2012.

Now, Maria is not only focused on her own company but also on a wide array of business ventures

where she acts as a strategic investor and advisor for brands like Supergoop,
