a little bit about a situation in Virginia that is very much at odds with the traditional Virginia way.

The politics of gentlemanly cordial behavior is something that has extended back in the old dominion for eons and that is really just the vestiges of an old genteel way of doing things,

something that has been dead in Virginia for a very long time.

It tends to get invoked when the Washington Post wants to go after someone like George

Allen and then said and dismissed when something like Ralph Northam and the gigantic combination

of blackface scandals and sexual assault accusations threatens the future of prominent Democrats.

Well, we have one of those incidents playing out in Virginia today, and it's one that if you've been paying attention to the news surrounding one of those incidents playing out in Virginia today. And it's one that if you've been paying

attention to the news surrounding one of those rare off-year gubernatorial elections, one that

tends to always swing in the opposite direction of the party in power in the White House,

you yourself may even have heard of. It's about the Attorney General in the race, someone who is trying to hold on to his seat,

Jason Mayaris, versus Jay Jones, a Democrat delegate who achieved the Democratic nomination

and was part of a ticket headed up by Abigail Spanberger, someone who's been touted as being a potential, even 2028 hopeful from the Democratic side as a presidential candidate potentially, and someone who was fetid by the party establishment, backed by Bill and Hillary Clinton and numerous Washington Democrats backed by the

Washington Post and major media figures, an ex-CIA spy who's done very little in her political

career and yet hits all the right notes and knows how to stick to a script.

Well, someone who didn't stick to a script is Jay Jones, her running mate.
