Our guest today is Dr. Mari Yorstad, who is a research associate at the Kenyan Institute for Ethics at Duke University, where she's working on a project called Facing the Anthropocene.

She graduated with a PhD in Hebrew Bible from Duke Divinity School and is the author of a book will be discussing today entitled The Hebrew Bible and Environmental Ethics, Humans, Non-Humans, and the Living

Landscape published by Cambridge University Press.

And in addition, he's also recently been appointed as Dean of the Vancouver School Theology,

which is right down the road for me, so I'm very excited about that.
