All right, Brian, in part two of today's show, we are going to talk about Notre Dame's head coach, Marcus Freeman.

Relative to where he's at in some of these post-fall rankings, continuing the preseason talk here.

There's several outlets that talk about all the coaches, top 10 coaches, they're putting

out their different lists about, you know, who ranks where in returning to college football.

And Marcus Freeman has consistently found himself in like the top seven or eight. And there's a

couple of key rankings that we want to talk about today. Sporting News, CBS Sports, ESPN.

But when you start talking about Marcus Freeman and his quick rise to fame in college football,

my biggest takeaway initially is one, it's about time that a Notre Dame head coach is kind of

get in the respect that they deserve in this

light. And I'm happy that it's Marcus Freeman that it's that's earning this right to be in

these. It's funny to say that because I actually, I actually always, you know, for a while there,

I felt like Brian Kelly got a little bit too much credit for a while.

But we'll need to go down that road again.

But, you know, it is interesting to see where Marcus Freeman was ranked last year compared to this year.

Because going into last season, there was a understandable constant push of he's got to show me something.

So like when you look at the sporting news rankings, for example,

they had Marcus Freeman ranked 22nd a year ago.

I probably would have had him a touch higher,

but again, you lost to Marshall.

You lost at home, you know,

you lost at home to Ohio State.

You lost to Clemson.
