Marcus Edwards is the Cofounder and CEO of Stationwise, a company transforming how fire departments manage staffing, scheduling, and labor rules. Raised in a family of firefighters, his father, uncle, and grandfather all served. Marcus grew up immersed in the fire service culture, and he saw firsthand how outdated tools made a hard job even harder.
Marcus began his career as a consultant at Bain & Company where he built advanced analytics platforms for Fortune 500 companies. While getting his MBA from Stanford, he founded Stationwise: a scheduling software that finally meets the needs of fire departments. Getting acting Battalion Chiefs like his dad to spend more in the field (and less behind a desk) was a big motivation.
Stationwise does more than replace legacy scheduling vendors. Beyond the “butts in seats” staffing, the platform integrates with payroll to calculate fully loaded costs. Instead of waiting 2-3 weeks to pull reports, Stationwise calculates the data in seconds. Users can set alerts when a certain % of their overtime budget is spent, or when a certain number of workers’ comp hours were used.
When he is not leading Stationwise, Marcus enjoys walks with his dog Harper, playing video games, and reading (especially sci-fi).

| 0:24.0 | important topic. So many of us rely on visits to our physicians to tell us how we are doing, and that is so |
| 0:31.6 | backward. I am an absolute believer in putting autonomy back into the hands of the individual so they can take care |
| 0:39.3 | of their own health. Now, what levels does is it gives us the metrics so we can see exactly how |
| 0:45.6 | everything is internally. So they help people improve their health through continuous glucose |
| 0:51.2 | monitoring, comprehensive lab tests, and metabolic coaching. |
| 0:56.3 | Now, through their three levels that they offer, they have programs that focus on weight loss, |
| 1:01.7 | heart health, and glucose stability. I've now been through this program twice, and I'll kind of |
| 1:07.6 | illustrate what it will look like. So you make an initial consultation with your levels coach. |
| 1:13.2 | You wear a continuous blood sugar monitor for one month. |
| 1:18.3 | You'll complete a lab panel and I did it through Quest Diagnostics. |
| 1:22.6 | A clinician with levels will then analyze your results and give you an action plan. That's when you can then start |
