I'm going to start as we always do with our crystal of the week and animal of the week and then we'll dive into the questions.

The crystal I chose this week is not a crystal, but still deserves mentioned nonetheless.

I decided to talk about Pearl today.

Pearls, I feel like it's kind of neat to look at stones and gems and crystals and jewelry that we wear all the time and kind of take for granted.

I think it's nice to look at them with a new eye and think about the energetic properties that they have.

Pearls have long been used for medicinal healing and almost magical qualities for ages.

The Chinese believed they were physical representations of the oyster soul.

The Arabs called them the tears of the gods.

In India, they are still a traditional wedding gift because they represent fertility and fidelity.

They were once used at this step in the plague as a cure.
