Hi, friends. I'm Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

These are the stories of Jesus Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles.

So go ahead and subscribe today. Join us as we finish reading all four Gospels in this week. And then we will start the message in April, starting with the book of Luke.

We're reading the Gospels this month in chronological order. So as you know, I mean, we're almost done. So you've experienced it.

As you know, we're reading from Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John every day. So each day, I'm going to tell you the scripture references and the stories are main themes that we hit.

And then as I read, I'll tell you the headings. And if the story is a more than one gospel, I'll tell you which gospel I read. So today is March 26, day 26. And I will be reading John 1331 through 38.

Mark 1427 to 31. Matthew 2631 to 35. Luke 2231 to 38. And John chapters 14 to 17. Today we see Jesus predict Peter's denial. And then we jump into everything Jesus says to his disciples after Judas leaves the upper room.

This is one of my favorite things that my pastor pastor Kevin has taught me is that when Judas left the room as we read yesterday is when Jesus really opened up and was able to share some really deep and personal things with his disciples and we get to read all that today.

The translation I'm reading from this month is the new living translation.

This is day 26 in chronological order. Jesus predicts Peter's denial from John. As soon as Judas left the room, Jesus said the time has come for the son of man to enter into his glory and God will be glorified because of him.

And since God receives glory because of the sun, he will give his own glory to the sun and he will do so at once.

Dear children, I will be with you only a little longer. And as I told the Jewish leaders, you will search for me, but you can't come where I'm going.

So now I'm giving you a new commandment. Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
