I was actually thinking a lot recently about pet peeves and about how in this country you got to have a pretty decent standard of living just in order to afford a pet peeve, right?

Like with all the social injustice and bad things going on in the world, you're probably doing alright if you're finding yourself getting personality about hairs on a bar or a soap, right?

I mean, that's ridiculous. Like for instance, what does a pet peeve sound like in a third world country, you know?

It's like, oh I hate it when I see the infidel who killed my father and raped my mother.

And he's got that little tag sticking out to the top of his turban.

Drives me nuts.

I just want to walk up and tuck it in.

But I have no legs, right? Yeah, that's what it sounds like in a third world country.

I think that was racist.

No, it wasn't. It was very funny. It was Kevin Heider and David Cope, they're both from the People's Republic of Comedy.

If you have been out and seen any stand-up comedy, at any actually cool venue in Seattle over the course of the last year or so, you may have run into these guys.

Stand-up comedy has kind of gotten I think a little bit of a deserved bad reputation.

Like after Jerry Seinfeld, I think everyone thought that they could just find, if they could just find a brick wall to stand in front of, they could catch that dream too.

They could be sinbed on star search, returning for time champion.
