1:04.3	aware of necessarily, of the assassinations of President Lincoln, President Garfield, President
1:10.4	McKinley, and of course JFK.
1:13.7	And we know that JFK supposedly, allegedly, the administration was supposed to release a bunch of documents
1:22.2	about the JFK assassination that have been kept secret for many, many decades. But of course, we haven't seen
1:29.3	them yet. So let's get started. John, welcome to the power cast for the third time. Hopefully
1:35.3	it's a charm. What led you to write this sort of book? Well, I think my grandfather was a big
1:41.8	influence in writing the book. He was a veteran from World War II.
1:46.4	He won the Silver Star.
1:47.5	He was a minesweeper in North Africa.
1:49.6	And he came back with a lot of great war stories.
1:53.3	We also brought back his rifle, too, from the war.
1:56.9	This is such a great memento from his service.
1:59.9	And I got to thinking about like artifacts
2:02.5	are such important teachers of history. I felt like these four guns, anything else in history
2:08.6	would teach us the lessons of the conspiracies, perhaps, and what would have happened if
2:13.4	they survived the assassinations. Okay, let's start with what we don't necessarily know about Abraham Lincoln.
