0:28.0	be reading Luke 16 from the new international version.
0:33.1	Luke 16 Jesus told his disciples there was a rich man whose manager was accused of wasting
0:39.6	his possessions so he called him in and asked him,
0:43.0	what is this I hear about you?
0:44.6	Give an account of your management
0:46.0	because you cannot be manager any longer.
0:48.7	The manager said to himself,
0:50.0	what shall I do now?
0:51.0	My master is taking away my job. I'm not strong enough to dig and I'm ashamed to beg.
0:55.5	I know what I'll do so that when I lose my job here people will welcome me into their houses.
1:00.5	So he called in each one of his master's debtors. He asked the first, how much do you owe my master?
1:07.0	900 gallons of olive oil, he replied. The manager told him, take your bill, sit down quickly, and make it 450.
1:15.1	Then he asked the second, and how much do you owe? A thousand bushels of wheat, he replied. He told him,
1:20.8	take your bill and make it 800.
1:23.4	The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly,
1:27.2	for the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind
1:31.0	than are the people of the light. I tell you use worldly wealth to gain friends
