Hey, good morning. I'm your host, Stephen Overley. It is Tuesday, March 18th, and here's

what's driving the day. President Donald Trump has been on a collision course with the courts,

and as my politico colleagues put it, he's now hitting the gas.

On Monday, a federal judge questioned why the administration allowed a plane full of undocumented immigrants with alleged gang ties to land in El Salvador, despite his order to turn the plane around.

And in a separate case, officials were told to give 48 hours notice

before deporting a Brown University doctor to Lebanon after photos of Iranian and Hezbollah

leaders were found on her phone. They simply sent her back anyway. The incidents are shaping up

to be a major test of the constitutional balance of powers and how far Trump will go

to overpower the courts. And in one of the more unusual stories today, Trump said he will

release unredacted documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

The 80,000 some pages will surely give journalists,

historians, and conspiracy heads plenty to comb through, and there's likely more to come.

You'll recall back in January, Trump signed an executive order, also calling for the release

of classified information about the deaths of Senator Robert F. Kennedy

and Martin Luther King Jr. But the biggest story today will be Trump's call with Russian President

Vladimir Putin. The U.S. and Ukraine want a 30-day ceasefire, and ultimately an end to the war.

That much we know.

What remains unclear is exactly what Trump is willing to offer Putin in return,

including Ukrainian land and power plans.

Trump told reporters that negotiators have discussed, quote, dividing up certain assets.
