Hi friends. I'm Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books

0:06.0

of the New Testament and the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. These are the stories of Jesus

0:10.6

Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles.

0:15.6

So each month we're reading all four books. You can go ahead and subscribe today. Join us

0:20.3

as we read the Gospels together for this month of March. Now we're doing it a little different

0:26.1

this month. If you're just showing us for the first time, welcome, welcome, welcome. This month

0:30.4

is wild. So we're reading the Gospels in chronological order. Some means we're going to read all the

0:36.3

stories and all four books in the order in which they happened. So every day, just about, we're going

0:41.5

to read something from each of the Gospels. They're going to all mix together. So we actually read

0:45.8

in the order that the stories happened. So today, for day one, as you can imagine, it means we're

0:52.4

reading a lot of names, you guys. We're reading a lot of names because we're reading both Matthew 1

0:57.3

and Luke 3. And that's really actually super important because just like you remember your

1:02.8

grandmother's name, you remember your parents' names and you remember people going back in your

1:06.9

family. Every name we read is someone who really matters. So they aren't just letters we're saying.

1:13.6

These are people who are part of the lineage of Jesus. So today's going to be really fun. But

1:19.2

listen, this month, if you want to read along with us, you're definitely going to want our March

1:23.4

reading plan because I'm telling you, there are some days where we read 14 or 15 different

1:27.6

passages. And in order to read along with us or to see it, you're going to want that plan.

1:32.3

You can get that at any fdowns.com slash Gospels. Also, the let's read the Gospels guidebook is

1:37.6

there with lots of fun things for you. Some thoughts for me, some journaling questions, and we're

1:43.2

going to deep dive a little bit this month since we're hitting same stories on the same day.

1:48.6

And there's just fun stuff. And also remember, if you get it in March, if this is your first time
