While the gospels are for unique tellings of the same window in history, the years of Jesus Christ's life on earth,

there are some interesting distinctions between each book. Yes, there are stories that overlap, but then there are some that don't.

And the gospels aren't each written in order from start to finish, from the birth of Jesus to his death, resurrection and ascension.

But this month, in March, we are going to read them like that.

So instead of reading a book at a time like we've been doing so far this year, we are going to read in chronological order,

meaning for the whole month of March, we will be hearing the stories of Jesus in the order in which they really happened.

We'll be reading from the NLT, the new living translation, and jumping around from book to book, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

And hearing the stories as they happened, that means that most days, we'll hear a story from multiple perspectives.

It's actually really fun and pretty fascinating. It is a whole new way to hear these stories.

As we walk towards Easter, what a really cool way to listen to the stories of Jesus.
