I wanted to discuss today, President Trump's declaration of a national emergency on the southern

border. The president, of course, has made the declaration.

Democrats, especially in the House, are sort of plotting how they want to fight back, if possible.

How did we even get to this position? Well, it's, we can kind of, we'll probably circle around

and come back to this at the end, but it's, it's interesting about why we're here, which is that it's a budgetary question that the president was trying to push

with Congress.

But Congress, for many reasons for a long time now, has really never passed budgets,

and they don't do that anymore.
