Okay, so on this show, our focus is always about relationships and love, but it's me we're dealing with here.

So, sometimes a little bit of fashion sneaks in.

And today I'm here to tell you that we have one of the most fashionable couples ever in our presence, Mark Jacobs, and his absolutely gorgeous, smart, talented, brilliant, sweetest husband, Char de Francesco. Mark Jacobs himself,

he's well-known and hugely respected for his fashion label Mark Jacobs. He also has held positions

as the creative director of Louis Vuitton, the creative director of Diet Coke, which I'm not sure I

even knew, and the recipient of several, and like when I see several,

I feel like it's like a hundred esteemed awards, including MTV's first fashion trailblazer

award, women's designer of the year. I'm going to say he's won these like 20 times at the

CFDA fashion awards. Mark's husband, Char de Francesco is a former model. Look at him. Well, you can't look at him, but I am.

It's very obvious. An owner of the luxury candle company, Get Lit by Char, which I'm confused,

where I don't have any of these, which offers seductive sense like hype, rich, lit, and

bay.

Bay. Okay, so we're so excited to hear about this amazing romance, which I've been fortunate to see

some parts of. So welcome to works for us, both of you. We're so excited to have you here. And I should say

too, very often on our podcast, Roger and I have the good fortune of knowing our guests for a

really long time and having history. But today, I think the one thing we'll always say about it,

that's so cool is that as well or as long as we know somebody, we always learn something new

on the podcast. When we talk to them, we get. And I can promise you that with Mark, you find out something new every the podcast when we talk to them we get and I can promise you

that with Mark you find out something new every time you talk to him 100%. So all right,

you guys, we like to start kind of at the beginning, which I think the most important thing here

is how on earth did you meet? Because I think, you know, just to go from the very basics, like how did it happen? Because it's kind of funny, I think. Yeah. You want to tell? Sure. Well, I was living in New York, but I just moved back to L.A. And so I was coming back to New York to visit some friends. And somebody was like, I'm at a party at Mark Jacobs house.
