Fox 26 Houston reports that 36-year-old Riteka Agrawal has been charged with the murder

of her four-year-old son, whose body was discovered in the family home on Sunday morning.

Agrawal's husband returned to the house in the gardens of Avalon subdivision of Sugarland

at around 10-30 in the morning.

He saw blood everywhere and found his wife walking around the house with cuts to her wrist

and throat.

From the second floor of the home, the husband found the body of the couple's four-year-old

son.

He immediately called 911.

Police officers responded within minutes, but found the boy already deceased.

He died from an apparent knife wound to the throat.

Officers noted that Agrawal's injuries appeared self-inflicted and his assistant has been confirmed.

Agrawal was taken to a hospital and was still being treated for her injuries as of Sunday
