It's the second time we're starting this show because somebody, myself, forgot to hit the record button on my microphone. All right. Let me tell the listeners what they're in have in store for them. We're going to talk about a new postpartum depression drug that, uh, with a medical student named Dave Ollelli, I've written an

article in JAMA about. We're going to talk about Orbita 1, Orbita 2, stenting, stable angina, chest

pain, John Mandrola's favorite talk of the town from what, the European conference. And we're

going to talk about physics versus medicine and the conflict between the two.

Anything new in your world before we get into that?

Well, you know, there's quite a time in cardiology.

We were reviewing the top 10, top 10 cardiology stories of the year, and there some good ones and I think the Orbita 2 is

absolutely one of the highlights so we'll talk about that. Good. Let's get into Orbita 2.

All right, let me start you off with this JAMA paper. So, you know, as you know, John, from time to

time, I get somebody who comes and visits me. A few years ago, I had Timothy Olivier, Hemong Fellow from Switzerland.

This year, we were lucky.

We got Dave O'Lele, his fourth-year medical student in Mount Sinai.

And he came to me, and he told me that, did I know, there was a new drug that was approved for postpartum depression?

The name of the drug is Xeranolone. Zeranolone is a pill, he told me,

and it's actually a GABA modulator. It's a lot like barbiturates and benzodiazepines.

And you give it to women with postpartum depression, and supposedly it makes them feel better.

And then he said, but he's pretty concerned that there are a lot

of problems with the study. And he started to take a deep dive and he found some really, really big
