I'm joined by my friend and colleague, Dr. Aaron Goodman, or Papa Heem, as he's known to friends around the world.

He and I are going to be talking about the best of Ash, 23, the very best that Ash has to offer.

You didn't have to travel far for Ash. It was in the best city in the world. Is that right, Aaron? Yeah, San Diego, Best City. And I was actually on call that whole week. I don't have the luxury of closing down clinic for two weeks and eating a bunch of steak dinners, having drink. So, you know, I worked all week, but I did make it to some of Ash.

And it was very exciting.

It was great to be in my beautiful hometown.

We had great weather, 70 degrees.

You weren't able to close your clinical operations for the week and attend, like,

all the best triless.

Is that correct, Aaron?

I won't comment for what they do or not, but no, I was unable to just disconnect from the transplant

service and shove the work to the nurses and nurse practitioners.

No, I was there, but I made it work.

That's really interesting, because Aaron, as you know, I was unable to attend Ash because I was

also the attending physician on service here at the hospital covering both heme and

onk. And so somebody's got to do that work. Wait, you see patients? That's funny how that works.

Funny how that works, huh? Yeah, and somebody's got to do it while everyone else gets to go to

Ash. So I was here. I was working the whole weekend and I actually worked almost three weeks in a row
