Welcome to the Fundamental Health Podcast. I'm your host, Dr. Paul Saladino. This podcast

0:11.1

is the result of my relentless search to understand and correct the roots of chronic

0:15.1

disease and illness. In this podcast, I will share with you everything I have learned

0:18.9

about how to live the most healthy and radical life possible. Thanks for joining me on this

0:23.3

journey.

0:25.3

What is up you guys? Another week is upon us. Hope you are all doing really well. I am

0:34.7

really excited about this week's episode because it is about estrogen and testosterone

0:40.3

to things that are near and dear to my heart and my, well, you know, my jewels, my good

0:46.5

stuff. If you think about the way that men's testosterone are trending in this country

0:54.5

and in the world, it is frankly terrifying. There is a clear trend toward lower levels

1:01.8

of testosterone and men and increased estrogen levels and women with early puberty and women

1:08.7

and associated probably increased rates of breast cancer. So I met Dr. Anthony J. Anthony

1:15.9

J. J. at Paleoaffects this year. I had connected with him prior and was excited to have him

1:22.4

on the podcast this week to talk about estrogen or estrogen and how there are all of these

1:31.2

synthetic estrogens and plant-based estrogens in our world, in our diet that are affecting

1:39.1

us and are probably contributing very strongly to the estrogen and estrogenization of men and

1:47.2

the overestrogenation of women. And so this is a really fascinating conversation. I think

1:53.4

it is going to hopefully be instructional for many of you, help worries awareness for

1:58.8

many of these sources of estrogen, exogenous and plant-based and give some real ideas of

2:05.5

how to minimize these in your life, whether you're a man or a woman. You probably all know

2:10.9

men and women who will benefit from this talk, but it is really interesting. And of course,

2:15.4

in terms of diet and carnivore, we do get into stuff about plant-based estrogens. And one
