Hey, welcome back to the How to Barbecue Right podcast. I'm your host, Malcolm and as always I'm joined by my lovely wife for

Shell. Shell, you doing all right today? I'm doing okay. All right. I'm hanging in there. You're

hanging in there? It's good and cold outside. Yeah. Cold for us. I think it's like 51 this morning.

Put Michael on the bus early. Man, I loved it. I just stood out there and just enjoyed it for about 10 minutes.

And you let him leave his jacket. He didn't need it. He said he was busy. It was at Spirit Day. This is homecoming week. I think we're going to try to go to the Hernando homecoming football game tonight. Michael's been begging to go. And I said, well, we'll take him to the home homecoming game. Went to the parade last night. And you know what? They put on a really good parade for

Hernando homecoming. It was awesome. Our floats, when we were in high school, our homecoming floats were

terrible. These kids really, you know. I mean, they put, yeah, every class had a really in in depth like they worked on those

things had costumes and fog machines and it was amazing yeah i was impressed you know since

we finally lived in herndo was this our third year yeah and we've been to the christmas parade

the past two years they have an awesome christmas parade and this is our first homecoming parade because because I guess Michael's just getting old enough to care and he's in third grade but

no second grade right no what's he in third grade yeah man hey it goes by so fast but

anyway he's into the whole Hernando spirit thing so and they had a big time to parade

he got all kinds of candy they were throwing out last night and acting like maniacs and I was I was surprised by how many adults were running out there picking up candy I always am yeah the Christmas parade of all this is just like baked candy you know they're throwing out tutsy rolls and suckers and stuff. Well, today, before we really get started, I thought we talked about OBR.

Yeah.

I know everybody's seen the hurricane damage down on the coast in Florida and Panama City in that area.

Big vacation destination for a lot of people, not only in the South, people come from all over that region.

And it was devastated by Hurricane Michael this past week.

And for those of you that don't know, OBR Operation Barbecue Relief, is kind of a, well, it is an organization that goes out and they help people in times of disaster.

They provide. Yeah, they provide foods for not only the people that are displaced, but also all the people

going down there to work and they help them rebuild.
