Hello, friends. Welcome to OnScript. This is Amy Brownh Hughes, a co-host for the podcast with

Matt Lynch, Matt Bates, Aaronheim, Drew Johnson, Chris Tilling, and Jules Martinez-Olivieri.

Today I have the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Malcolm Foley, a pastor, historian, and speaker

who serves as special advisor to the

president for campus engagement at Baylor University. Fully co-pastors Mosaic Waco, a multicultural

church in Waco, Texas, where he lives with his wife, Desiree. In addition to the anti-greed gospel,

he is currently working on a second book, which we'll talk about later.

But hint, he's going to be working with Greek and Byzantine theologians on how deification

jettisons the lesser hopes of wealth accumulation, political power, and cultural influence.
