So I would love the year, because I know you've always loved art.

Your family has been involved in the art scene.

So we talk about that. How did you decide that you also

were going to follow the dream of being an artist and that was your passion?

Well it started a long time ago when I was a little girl.

My dad's an artist, and he does a lot of watercolors,

so he's done all kinds of art, though.

And we used to sit on the porch when I was a little girl

and we used to draw and paint. And I've always done some type of art,

drawing, painting, and in fact one time when I was in the third grade I got in trouble for drawing pictures

instead of doing whatever this was.

So the teacher was like, you have to get her to do the assignment and not just do

art when she's in the group.

And so anyway, it just was, it's always been my passion and it's been really what I love and what I'm good at

So in high school I taught little art classes to kids on the weekends and then I went off to college and I thought I wanted to be a dental hygienist.

And so yeah, I know.

It's all. I think at the time I thought, well, it would be a good job for a woman.
