Hi, everyone. This is Curtis, and I am excited to tell you about a new feature of the GoodFaith podcast, and it's called Campfire Stories.

Now, in a great campfire, everyone has the opportunity to share their stories. And so, in Campfire Stories, we want to hear from you.

We want to hear a story about what you are doing along the themes of the GoodFaith podcast, perhaps it's something about how you're living out your relationships with political polarization, how you are trying to reflect the image of God in your institution and organization, or what you're doing with your money, or your vocation, anything that has been sparked by the themes that we've covered here in the GoodFaith podcast is fear game.

It doesn't matter if it's a big story, a small story, or something in between, as long as it's a story about what you are doing in your life.

We're not so much interested in hearing just thoughts, we want to hear stories of doing.

So, we'll put a link in the show notes where you can just click on it and then supply us the basic outlines of your story of doing, of living out the themes of GoodFaith podcast.

And we'll look at it and we may invite you to share that story on a GoodFaith blog, a social media, or perhaps even invite you to come on the GoodFaith show yourself and talk to me and share your story.

Welcome to The GoodFaith podcast. This is David Prins with the British Chang. And I'm really excited today. We've got a guest, Dr. Durwin Gray.

Dr. Gray is a guy I have been following for some time and have been wanting to get him on a podcast.

And today is the day. Dr. Gray's got a tremendous, he's got, he's got a tremendous biography. So, a place football at BYU goes and plays a safety in the NFL for the Colts and the Panthers becomes a Christian at age 26 starts a church 12 years ago, right, Dr. Gray?

That's correct.

12 years ago and since that time and it starts it as an intentionally multi ethnic church. And since that time has quite frankly, honestly, just I just I hate to say anything good about Twitter.

That's sort of against the style guide for this podcast, but you've actually blessed me on Twitter on a number of occasions. And so when we wanted to wait into some of these really tough questions about

race and the church and building a multi ethnic church, the theme of your previous book and you've got another book coming out that will get to I thought, man, one of the most constructive voices out here.

Hey, thanks, thanks for having me and David, you have been a lighthouse in an ocean of chaos with your gospel clarity, your, you, you refuse to compromise gospel convictions for a bowl of Trump soup.

You have you have you have stayed steady and Curtis, I'm just not getting to know you through the podcast.

And what I appreciate is love doesn't mean I don't disagree with you. It does mean I can treat you with honor, dignity, decency and respect.

But above all, our allegiance is to King Jesus and King Jesus and his church has outlasted neuro. It's outlasted the dark ages. It's outlasted.

The middle ages is outlasted the enlightenment. And it is an unshakable eternal kingdom. Therefore, our allegiance is to one who sits on the throne and rules sovereignly from above.
