G. K. Chesterton said, the Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting it's been found

difficult and left untried. Well the very same thing might be said of post-Roe

America. In a recent interview with Shane Morris on the Coulson Center's

upstream podcast Pro-Life Apologist Scott

Clusendorf said, a difficult thing out loud.

Quote, every time this has been put to the public for a vote since the casting down of

Roe, we've lost.

And we've lost not only in blue states like Michigan, we've lost in red states, like Ohio,

Montana, Kentucky.

And these are indicators that there's something not.

that we had assumed all along were in our favor.

They're not.

And that changes what our job description looks like, post-Roe."

You see, according to Clusendorf, the problem isn't that most Americans have heard the case for life and rejected it.

Instead, they simply never heard the case clearly articulated.

They never been forced to really reckon with it.

Now that the Supreme Court has put the issue of abortion

back to the states, it is more urgent than ever that we are able to argue

persuasively for the rights of the unborn and to be able to do it at the street

level. Or as Chuck Colson like to say, over the backyard fence
