With a woman a look at culture from a Christian worldview, I'm John Stone Street with the point.

In a recent article published in Newsweek Alliance Defending Freedom's Christian Wagoner described

how the federal government's working to remove protection for women's sports,

ironically all in the name of equity and justice.

When Title IX rules that protect female representation in sports are reinterpreted to privilege

males claiming a transgender identity identity while the original purpose of

title 9 gets turned on its head. You know 20 years ago or maybe even just 10

if someone were to predict that women and girls would be denied privacy and

scholarship money and the fair opportunities to compete in sports,

the culprits would have likely been assumed to be advocates of a kind of handmaids tail right-wing patriarchy.

But this is a move being championed by those on the left because of their

worldview in which identity is understood to be constructed and the freedom to self-express is

understood as the highest good. But this freedom, a freedom from reality, is not freedom at all.

And it's certainly not the freedom that was long ago promised to women and girls.
