I'm just surprised you got through NBC Sports Washington without throwing up all over yourself.

I did have to write it down to make sure I'm today we are going to try to make sense of the capital's roster situation a situation that remains fluid we're going to talk about Tom Wilson's now latest suspension and we are going to open up the mailbag tarc the regular season is here

how pumped are you i'm pretty excited i'm pretty excited um there's some games tonight to kind of

wet the appetite kind of get you fired up for tomorrow's uh opener in ottawa i'll be in studio

with you and alan may and rob Carlin and the whole band will be

back together. We've got pre-game, pre-game, post-game, the game. We got you covered. And we're all

excited. I can tell you, there was kind of a feeling yesterday as we were sitting there in our cubicles,

kind of talking about the plan.

We were starting to get pretty excited.

And, you know, it's funny, I turned to you today in practice here at Kettler,

and you can tell the players, there's a different speed in practice when the regular season's here.

I'm not saying they're dogging it or anyone's going at eight-tenths.

Actually, yes, I am.

So the regular season practice are here.

I mean, just the way they cut into the ice with their blades, like you can just hear it, the intensity, the regular season, the games matter.
