I'm doing great. We're going to talk about a fun topic today.

We're going to talk about something that I think for a lot of people is a mystery.

And it's even, I will admit, it's kind of a mystery to me to a degree because it changes so quickly.

And it's so new.

And what I'm talking about is MCP model context protocol, which is, after all, just another flavor of automation, one that allows you to hook a bunch of things together, which is something

that you and I have been doing for many years,

but it's just a very different context.

And with an LLM in the middle of the chain, basically.

And it's a horrible name.

So there's also that.

Everything associated with AI has a horrible name.

It really does.

That's what happens when programmers and engineers also be in charge of naming things.

You end up with MCP, model context protocol.

You end up with things like, have you gone to the chat GPT web app lately?

Not the web app on a little bit.

Okay, so if you go on the web app and if you have a paid account, you can... So this whole thing with GPT5 was supposed to simplify, right? The model picker menu. Oh, yeah. I know.
