trying out some new gear here, a new setup for our recording. We'll have to talk about this more in the

future but we're both kind of feeling our way through a new way of reporting podcast,

which is always a bit of an adventure.

And I guess as follow up, we have some, we have some follow up this week.

But my follow up is that it has been a day of trying new gear.

So I mentioned on, on the previous episode of MPC that I was having some

troubles with my gaming PC. Right. I couldn't get a signal out of the display port in the back

of the GPU inside of the PC. Turns out it was just, I don't know, it was kind of weird. I had to unplug the connector from the GPU to the motherboard and re-plug it again. And it was fine. Do you think that's related in any way to perhaps like, I don't know, the KVM, like maybe losing track of which, you know, which thing

you're connected to?

No, because the gaming PC does not take advantage of the KVM functionality of the monitor.

My monitor as a built-in KVM, but it's only being used by the Mac Studio and the iPad

throw or whatever device is plugged in via USBC, the gaming PC is totally separate,

has its own display port connection to the monitor, has its own mouse, has its own keyboard.

So it's, I think it was just a matter of, you know, I've been moving this PC around and maybe

the connector came loose or something, which is not, not great, but at least my GPU was not fried.

Yeah, yeah. I mean, it's just really, I mean, it was unplugged, essentially, at least unplugged enough that you were having trouble connecting, I guess. Yeah. That's not, I don't think that's a big deal. Yeah. And then I spent the whole day trying to, well, I guess we're going to talk about this when we talk about Vision OS. I spent a whole day trying to do something, but turns out it's going to be more

complicated than that. So my desk right now is a mess, which I absolutely cannot stand. There's a

capture card. There's multiple USBC cable. There's a Vision Pro. There's my game controller.
