So 25 years ago, the Good Friday Agreement was signed in 1998 and marked the end of a 30-year period

of conflict in Northern Ireland that's often referred to as the Troubles.

We want to talk about some of the history of that agreement and its continued relevance.

We'll get into more detail about all of this. But if you don't know anything else,

you'll want to know that this agreement was negotiated by a multi-party group. People were

elected to get involved in this process. There were people brought in from other nations to help

facilitate the process. And the goal was to create a sense of peace around the relationship

that Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK had with each other.
