hi. i’ve been moving over the course of the past few months and i finally feel like i’m settled in a place i’ll be in for a while. in the past, i never really cared about the space i lived it- i just figured i’d be in and out in a year and there was no point. but with my new home, i really made an effort to make my space work for me and it has made me so much happier. so i have some tips i’m going to share, that you can use to make your space your own, too. it’s all about knowing yourself - it’s these little elements of personalization that make your day-to-day life easier and more streamlined…it’s kind of fun in a way. it’s enjoyable. hope these tips help…let me know if any of this stuff works for you. maybe i’m losing my marbles a bit, but i don’t know, i think it makes a big difference. love ya. 0:02.0	So for the past few months, I've been moving into a home that I think I'm going to live

0:15.2	Sort of a permanent, semi-permanent home, which is a little bit different than the last
0:22.2	few times that I've moved, because the last few places that I've lived in Los Angeles
0:28.5	specifically have been very temporary, and I've known that about them, so I've never

1:11.6	space as comfortable as possible, because in all the other places I've lived in Los Angeles
1:21.5	specifically, I've always had it in the back of my head that I'm only going to be there
1:25.8	for a year or so, and so I never really put the effort into making these spaces feel comfortable

1:37.7	I've just been lazy.
1:38.7	I was like, I don't need to do that.
1:40.9	Like I'm going to move out in a year.
1:42.5	Like I just need to get a little bit settled, and then that's good enough.
