These are all obviously critical positions, positions of need, I would argue, for the New England Patriots.

So you're going to hear some names from them.

Storm away in the back of your mind as we go through the process.

And let's track and see how well these players are performing at things like the Combine.

And throughout the interview process.

And maybe, hey, maybe just maybe we'll be able to talk to them here on the next Pat's podcast.

Last week we gave you what might be considered by some to be sort of a worst-case scenario,

where they still, in my opinion, take a very good player at a very important position,

Will Campbell the tackle out of LSU.

This week, more of a quote-unquote best-case scenario.

Because after the senior ball, the quarterback performance there in Mobile, not awesome.

And so if you're looking for a quarterback in this year's draft, I think it's as clear as it's ever been, you've got to grab one early.

And so maybe there's a trade up. We have a trade up. The Raiders move all the way up to number two to make sure that they get a quarterback.

The Titans at number one overall, they take Abdul Carter. The Raiders at number two, they end up taking Cam Ward. A lot of people making that connection between Tom Brady, Dion Sanders, Shador Sanders.

There's a relationship there. But to me, Cam Ward is the best quarterback in this year's class.

So the Raiders with Tom Brady directing the controls there,

knows how important it is that they get a physically talented quarterback who can mold his game as he grows in the NFL.
