Today I'll be doing the program myself because this other staff is not available today.

But in the Congress when you get some time on the house floor we always said,

give me five minutes, ten minutes and they might it, and we get to do a special order.

So in a way, I'm doing a special order today, and I want to talk about an issue that's hot

in the news, and that is the issue, the political issue right now of affordability. Both parties

use that term, and they're dealing with something very, very serious and they

are now arguing who's the cause, what's the cause and what's the cure.

And I think they're all off track because I don't think any of them are talking about what it means for the consumer

not to be able to afford the stuff and the necessities of life.

And, you know, there's a lot of reasons for this.

You know, right now we're dealing with a lot of people who are insolvent, which means

their assets are smaller, their assets are smaller their assets are

smaller than their debt and the debt is outrageous and a high but that means the

United States is insolvent and it has been but they get away with it because we as a

country have the access to the reserve currency of the world for a while at least yet.

But no, our assets are way below the debt that we have and the debt is unknown. They say

it's approaching 30 trillion, but the accuracy of that is really question.
