I don't know what the hell CNN was thinking. When execs sat down at a table and

thought it would be a good idea to take an hour of airtime, prime time and put

Donald Trump in a room with an audience full of magasick offense and reporter

anchor who would be responsible for checking, rechecking and checking again the

lies, ignorance, misogyny of Donald Trump for an hour. Who made that decision?

There was a lot of noise about CNN making the move to do this in the first place

and there were those myself included who thought initially, you know, maybe

this be a way for people to kind of get us, no, that that was just a dumb moment.

To even begin to think that way. And I think a lot of people realize that now.

It's just one of these things, one of these moments that when you watch it unfold

real time folks, you say to yourself, why? The lies out of Donald Trump's mouth

began almost immediately after the introductions. And might take away in that

initial moment beyond the, well nothing's changed here and what did you expect?

Was Trump lives in a world in which lies are the thing? It is a world full of lies.

His life has been a lie from how much wealth he has to how smart and put

together he is as a business owner to how he ran the country for four years.

He lives in this perpetual world of lies so much so that when he has to

confront the truth, you realize the truth for him is the lie. And it just was
