In my next lifetime, I'm going to come back as one of those people who are eternally

grateful for everything they can always find the good and the gratefulness and whatever

they encounter and whatever season of life that they are in.

I am not that person in this lifetime.

This quarantine, we're on week five.

I am very blessed to be healthy.

I am very blessed to be safe.

I am very blessed to be secure.

Everyone is not.

I am thankful for those things.

And still, I'm ready to get out this damn house.

When I came to DC five weeks ago intending to stay for two weeks, I had a short bucket

list of things that I had always wanted to do.

I've never walked along the title basin.

It's been years since I walked from the Lincoln Memorial down the reflecting pool to

the monument to the Capitol.

So I woke up yesterday.

I decided to drive downtown and walk them all, walk the title basin.

I walked from the Aaron Space Museum to the Kennedy Center.

And from the Kennedy Center to the Lincoln Memorial down the reflecting pool to the World
