Summary
At some point or another you’ve probably wondered “why am I the way I am?”.
And to figure it out, you may have taken some of the big personality tests like the Enneagram, Myers-Briggs or DISC -- or maybe you’ve turned to Astrology for some answers.
But have you ever heard of Human Design?
Human Design offers a map, or a manual, based on a combination of the I Ching, astrology, Kabbalah, Hindu-Brahmin chakra system, and quantum physics that indicates how you are unique as a person -- in other words, what makes you tick. By understanding your Human Design, you can better align yourself to your energy, intuition and the world.
In this week’s episode I’m joined by Victoria Jane, Human Design expert and former Silicon Valley tech employee turned entrepreneur. Victoria spent 10 years hustling in Silicon Valley before reaching a major turning point that changed everything and led her to study Human Design and how it can help people. Today she works with growth-oriented, professional women to use Human Design to live and thrive - with less hustle and more flow.
In this episode you’ll hear:
- A breakdown of Human Design and how it can uplevel your life [5:22]
- How Human Design has changed Victoria’s own life in a big way [6:58]
- What is “authority” in Human Design, and the different kinds that exist [11:33]
- The critical role that your nervous system, and your own self-care, will play in this journey [25:43]
- A time in my life where I didn’t feel connected to my own identity, and Victoria’s thoughts on how my Human Design could have played a part in this [29:46]

| 0:00.0 | I'm Melissa Griffin, and while I was in my 20s, I turned a hobby blog into a multi-million |
| 0:06.0 | dollar company. Now, what I've discovered after working with thousands of entrepreneurs is that the |
| 0:11.0 | greatest thing standing in the way of success isn't another business tactic or marketing strategy. |
| 0:17.5 | It's your own mindset. Now, I believe that you're meant for more than just the status |
| 0:22.7 | quo. So on this show, you'll feel like you're sitting down with a friend who's here to help |
| 0:28.0 | you transform your fears and roadblocks into a truly limitless version of yourself. It's time to |
| 0:34.9 | upgrade your life and business from the inside out. Let's do this. |
| 0:41.3 | Well, first of all, I know your journey and your pathway to human design is really interesting |
| 0:46.8 | and also really relatable. So I would love to know for all of our listeners, what were you doing |
| 0:51.5 | before you became a human design practitioner? |
| 1:00.4 | Yeah. And maybe I'll even like take a few steps before that, which is like in the household that I grew up in, academics and like being a, you know, kind of like achiever type of role was |
| 1:05.9 | very much how I felt I would be loved, which I think is actually common for projectors specifically. |
| 1:12.1 | And so- That's interesting. I didn't know that. |
| 1:15.1 | Yeah, yeah. So projectors of all the types are most fulfilled and nourished by feeling successful. |
| 1:21.4 | And so I see it as a really common pattern where projectors will like get that quick hit of success. |
| 1:27.1 | And it's out of alignment with like what |
| 1:28.7 | their soul really wants but it's like junk food success where you know we feel seen we feel recognized |
| 1:34.0 | and appreciated and then it kind of like can turn into for me at least going down the wrong path for |
| 1:39.1 | a while so to answer your question yeah i've always thought that we do as a projector and that just like really colored in some lines |
| 1:46.8 | for me. |
| 1:47.3 | So anyway. |
| 1:48.1 | Yeah. |
