The holiday season of 2024 marked 50 years since 15-year-old Henry Bedard was murdered in cold blood in Swampscot, Massachusetts.

I brought you Henry's story last summer, but since then there's been a major update in the case.

And it happened just this month in October of 2025.

So I wanted to bring you Henry's story again and bring you all the updates so you know exactly where

this case stands today and be on the lookout next week for a brand new episode. In the shadows of

an early December afternoon, somebody with a baseball bat beat the life out of 15-year-old Henry

Biddard Jr. He'd been on his way home to wrap a Christmas gift he bought for his sister,

and he was found the following day in a well-traveled patch of woods that was popular amongst the town's youth.

Henry was a good kid from a good family, who to this day still can't understand why somebody would do this.

But police are hopeful that the right person will recognize the markings on the bat,

and come forward with the tip they need to crack this case,

no matter how much time has passed.
