All right, lovely listeners, today you're going to get to hear from the person who

client. She had been in our academy a long time ago. She had actually been interviewed for the show

a long time ago. And she came into some hardship. Her husband had passed away. Her binge eating had

come back. And she wanted to get some coaching.

And as I was coaching her and I was walking her through the paper pencil journal and how to use it to help diffuse her binging,

she openly admitted to me something that so many people tell me,

which is I tried doing the paper pencil journal,

but I ended up stopping because I didn't think it was working or I didn't know how to do it or I wasn't sure if I was doing it correctly.

And once I got rock and rolling with it, she noticed an immediate release of the binge eating problem.

She noticed herself being able to get in a calorie deficit.

And because I see so much crazy success with people when they do the process correctly,

and they don't just use it as a glorified way to track calories or they don't use it appropriately

because the magic in it is the self-awareness. It's the noticing patterns. It's the fixing problems.

It's actually diffusing the willpower struggle by putting everything on the left side of your paper.
