0:05.9	Today is Mailbox Monday, and I'm going to spend the next 40 minutes or so answering listener questions and touching on some of today's headlines.

0:35.3	Well, thank you guys for tuning in today. So I record Mailbox Monday on a Friday. So today is Friday, but not when you hear the podcast. And so anything can happen.
0:39.6	Like I'm just, part of me is on pins and needles just going, I wonder what's going to happen over
0:43.3	the weekend that's going to really affect the news cycle. And I wonder what headlines are going to be
0:48.3	popping up. But I thought it was interesting because no matter what goes on in the news in the next
0:53.9	couple of days, I think one thing is certain. And goes on in the news in the next couple of days,
0:54.4	I think one thing is certain, and that is that the reign of terror of the lies of the legacy
1:01.4	media is coming to an end. I think we're seeing now more and more evidence that the platforms
1:07.7	that once really held a grip over the news, I think this is where we got our news. We got our news from CBS. We got our news from CNN. We got our news from Fox News. And now,
1:17.0	really, people are getting their news from different organizations because they don't trust the
1:22.8	mainstream media. And when President Trump, you know, came out swinging in 2016 and called them fake news,
1:30.2	that's, that has stuck. And people don't trust the mainstream media anymore. As the election of
1:35.9	2024 continues to wind down, there is a pretty interesting shift happening with the conversation.
1:44.9	I was listening to NPR on my way to the studio today.
1:49.0	And it's not, you know, I'm not really typically in the habit of listening to NPR.
1:53.5	But I'm going to tell you, they were pretty open and honest.
1:57.5	At least it sounded like it to me with regard to what went wrong for the Democrats
2:02.2	in this last election. And the Democrats are digging their heels in. Now they've decided that
2:07.4	they're going to blame. Wait for it. Uneducated white women for Kamala Harris's devastating loss. And
