I joined as always my co-ist Nick Falado. It's been a while since we did any content here.

It's been a rough season here for the New York Giants. We enjoyed the by week ourselves. Nick's still

getting settled in in New Jersey. But we're here with one of our favorite things to do always on the show,

no matter what time of the year it is, what point of the off season, what point in the cycle, and that's Mailbag show. And this is a classic mailbag, not the recent live mailbags. These are the ones where we ask you for your questions, read off your names, and read off your questions and answer them. So likely be a two-part mailbag as we head into the Giants week 14 game against

the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football 1. I will be in attendance at. So maybe I'll see

some of you there. I'll be living in the lap of luxury as one of my good friends. Shout out Justin

the jeweler will be taking me inside a box there. So I won't have to sit out in that cold nick for

this DeVito love matchup. I will watch from a box like a like a like a dandy young gentleman, like a, uh, I was not the word. I was looking for it's a boogey mother, a bougie mother mother. You know what though we've been trying to not curse as much lately as someone did give us a shout out Jasper who who long-term fan he said don't curse as much

anymore we'll try we'll try we're not making any promises there though but i'll be excited for that

but anyway nick we wanted to get a mailbag against we're going to do two-parter but before we get

this mailbag going i wanted to discuss with you the news the week and that news is the giant's decision

to name tommy davido the starter despite bringing Tyrod Taylor off of IR, where Taylor himself has described himself as healthy, ready to go.

But he will be a healthy QB2 in this game behind Tommy DeVito, Tommy Cutlets, the story of the year.

Sadly, I mean, not for his sake, it's an amazing story, but just sad that our story of the year. Sadly, I mean, not for his sake.

It's an amazing story, but just sad that our story of the year is a QB3, you know, winning some games in a two and eight season. But that's, you got to find some kind of joy. And Tommy's brought some joy to the fan base. So I think that played a role in the decision. But I want to get your initial thoughts on the, on the decision from all angles, Nick, and then I'll get into mine.

So let's look at it this way.

Who gives the Giants the best chance to win if we're being objective? I would say right now that it's Tyrod Taylor. I think Tyrod Taylor gives the Giants the best chance to win. He is a veteran when he had his shot this season. He did not disappoint. He was doing similar things as Tommy

DeVito. He was challenging down the field and doing things on offense that we haven't necessarily

seen too much of recently. But I think the way Brian Dable summarized it is accurate. Tommy

DeVito has earned it at this point. They have won two games in a row heading into the bye week. Tommy DeVito, he has faults, hold onto the football entirely too long, which could bite the Giants in the rear end. But as of right now, I think you let the kid lose the job and then you have Tyrod Taylor who can come in rather than allow Tyrod Taylor to kick out Tommy DeVito, who is playing solid football right now. That's my take on it. I think that's a fair take. I think to start off, I think undoubtedly, Tyrod Taylor gives the Giants the best chance to win right now. And I think those who might point to the stats and be like, well, look, they're pretty similar, actually, Tyrod is this, Tommy's that. They're both taking shots downfield. They're're both creating explosive plays they're both not really turning the ball over they're

both taking too many sacks sure but you have to at least factor in that Tyra
