So Trump loves to beat his own records, and it looks like he may be getting close to having the longest government shutdown in history.

Now, Trump currently already has the record for the longest shutdown

of 35 days, and that took place in 2018. But the odds are in his favor to beat his record as

Americans are struggling, specifically, and something that's really driving me crazy,

specifically as SNAP benefits, food programs are going to expire as of November 1st.

Now, Democrats are still trying to work through the shutdown.

For example, last week, dozens of members of Congress held a shadow hearing in Chicago to try and to push back against the immigration crackdown.

Maga Mike Johnson continues to hold these daily pressers with the exact same talking points.

I mean, there's no point in watching one from yesterday.

It'll be the same as today.

But today, again, he claimed that the

Republicans are not, let me say it again, Republicans are not in charge of government. Really?

Play the clip. The Democrats are required to open the government. They keep saying Republicans are in charge of government.

We aren't, not in the Senate. Sixty votes control the Senate, not a bare majority. And so point number

one, Democrat votes are required to open the government. That's open the government subject to what

you want. Interestingly enough, who's the one that's keeping government shut? Who's the one that

refuses to swear in Adelaide Grahalva? Who's the one that doesn't want to see a vote regarding

the Epstein files come to fruition? Who's the one that told everybody to go home, Maga Mike Moron

Johnson? Who's the one that told everybody to go home to take some time off?
