So what the hell happens with Venezuela now? Is it essentially now, what a colony of the United States with a gun stuck to its head?

With the acting President Delci Rodriguez essentially just a de facto puppet of the United States? Is that what happens?

You know, what does this mean for the future, not just in Venezuela, but obviously far beyond that as well.

rest of it, because I know people will want to hear about that and what's happened with Venezuela

in the last few years. So just so everyone's aware, we're going to come on to that.

Just your response, did you, I mean, we've had this build-up for months.

We've had Trump's threats for months.

We had an oil tank being seized by the United States.

Did you expect this to happen?

Well, given the anticipation, all the buzz around this military mobilization,

the seizure of the cargoes, as you mentioned, it definitely was a scenario that one

could anticipate, nonetheless, the horrifying image of the U.S. military bombing your city and invading your country is never something I imagine you can be ready for.

And there's always this shocking effect on your, I would say, dignity, love for your country.

And yeah, you think of all the principles you've stood for politically in the past and see this unraveling is both a confirmation of the imperial nature

of the United States and its global policy.

It's a confirmation also of the nature of the current administration because it must be said that it's not every day that any U.S. administration has intervened in Latin America, at least.

So I think the region, as Venezuela is first, and the region has come to a moment of realization that we definitely have entered,
