I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

Folks, we started covering this, the Madeline Soto case yesterday.

And it's such a horrific case.

But there's a lot of people that have been tuning into this,

both on our channel and many other channels.

And for people that don't understand the horrificness of homicide investigation and other things that come into play during these cases, we cannot, as retired law enforcement, sugarcoat this.

And when we say certain things that we think certain people potentially could be involved and people get upset

in the chat sometimes you know and that's the nature of investigation everyone is a suspect that you

you disprove or you clear them and then they can perhaps walk away but until that's determined we got to

remember what's the stakes here folks a 13-year-old girl was murdered and as we're finding out now

some horrific things happen to this 13-year-old girl going back, perhaps two to three years.

So we can't sugarcoat it, you know, and we're not going to.

When we say true crime from a police perspective, that's what we actually mean, you know, true crime from a police perspective.

And the only good thing about this case is that someone has been arrested and not for the murder yet,

but we think when this case is put together that the person they have in custody, the mother's boyfriend, Stefan

Stearns, is going to be charged with the murder of Madeline Soto, 13-year-old, beautiful girl.

And that's what we deal with here.

And we don't shirk our responsibility of giving you guys the reality of it and letting

you know what we think for.

We're not making this stuff up.
