Well, you know, I've actually been following it from the beginning.

I didn't really start it to comment and be more active about it until about 20, the end of 2014, I believe, beginning of 2015.

For me, it became very personal.

As you know, I'm not a true crime person. I'm not somebody who follows many other cases. I think since the Madeline case, I probably paid more attention to other crimes that have happened. But for me, it was just basically about being Portuguese and the,

and I felt some sort of a responsibility to help.

I felt like there weren't enough voices from Portugal

who could speak English and could help and translating and just, you know, keeping it a little
