Chapter 1, Asking Your Dream for Help

Manuela is a young woman in her early 20s who attended the Dream Lecture I hosted in the Netherlands.

Prior to her attending, she was unfamiliar with the concept of asking her dreams for guidance

in her waking life. During the lectures, she said,

Recently, I've had problems with the amount of stress I experience in my life, and I often

feel tired and restless. She explained that she had been seeking help for her troubles

through a traditional Chinese medicine healer, but that so far nothing had relieved her stress.

That evening, after learning my dream technique, she went home and decided to ask her dreams.

Why do I experience stress so quickly?

The next morning, I received an email from her describing the dream response she experienced

after asking that question. She said, I see a woman with tattoos covering her entire body.

She appears bold and is very muscular. She looks at me and then motions, pointing her finger towards

the ocean. When I turn to look in the direction she's pointing, I see the glittering surface of

the ocean, but I also see all the currents running beneath it. The currents appear as different

colors and different lights, which strikes me as bizarre. I walk over to the water and start to swim.
