I'm going to start and you're going to think that I don't know that Apple has

apologized for the way it handled the CPU throttling communications issue we've been talking about for the past several days.

What actually happened was I wrote a lot, then Apple issued its apology.

But there were so many words already and I think a lot of them are

still applicable sadly. So I'll do the stuff leading up to Apple's apology then then I'll tell you about the apology, then we'll

do other things.

Bummed to say I may have been wrong about us not talking about the iPhone throttling issue

that roared to life last week. I'm sure you remember that was the story that had Apple

acknowledging that it slows down CPU performance on older iPhones

when not doing so would likely lead to the phones crashing or freezing.

Apple says it's got nothing to do with the phones or the operating systems but

...
