A couple of notable notes for Apple heading into the holiday weeks.

First, Apple Insider has Piper Jaffray analyst Mike Olson upping his price target on

Apple's shares thanks to what he sees as a perfect storm for iPhone 5G.

Here's what Wikipedia has to say about the storm that came to be known as the

perfect storm. The Halloween storm of 1991 left significant damage along the east coast of

the US, primarily in Massachusetts

and southern New Jersey.

Across seven states, damage totaled over $200 millionS. dollars.

Over a three-day period, the storm lashed the northeastern United States with high waves causing damage to beach-front properties from North Carolina to Maine.

The coastal flooding damaged or destroyed hundreds of homes and businesses

and closed roads and airports.

In addition, high winds left about 38,000 people without power.

Blizzards, Nor'easters.

In the nine years that I lived in Boston,

I only remember being scared by the weather twice.

One time was Hurricane Bob, the other was the storm that came to be known as the perfect storm.

It wasn't as much fun as an iPhone 5G is likely to be.
